Como todos los pastelistas, yo tambi\u00e9n guardo cantidad de min\u00fasculos trocitos de pastel seco. Que podemos hacer con ellos? Se pueden reciclar? Los tengo seleccionados por gamas de color. Un mont\u00f3n de cajitas y potecitos que se van acumulando con el tiempo, esperando su momento.<\/p>\n

La mayor\u00eda de estos pedacitos es demasiado peque\u00f1o para ser usado con los dedos.<\/p>\n

Tengo muchas ideas sobre como aprovecharlos\u2026<\/p>\n

Una de ellas es convertir estos restos \u00a0de pastel \u00a0en barras nuevas! Hace mucho tiempo le\u00ed algo sobre el tema y la idea me pareci\u00f3 genial!<\/p>\n

Se trata de machacar los trocitos, convertirlos en polvo muy fino, llegando a una textura similar a la harina, y con un poquito de alcohol puro, amasarlos hasta crear una pasta manejable . Obtener una masa y moldearla en forma de baritas de pastel, que solo necesitan secarse despu\u00e9s a temperatura ambiente. Es una manera divertida de pasar el tiempo en crear pasteles propios, mezclar gamas de colores \u00a0que pueden ser de gran utilidad en tu trabajo, y adem\u00e1s reciclar y ahorrar, ya que las barras de pastel suelen ser costosas.<\/p>\n

Cada marca de Pasteles tiene sus recetas secretas y utiliza materiales diferentes para obtener\u00a0 la suavidad y tacto que los caracteriza! Lo mas dif\u00edcil es incorporar la cantidad exacta del aglutinado para cada tipo de pigmento\u2026.Pero a la hora de remezclar estos materiales no tenemos este problema a\u00f1adido, puesto que los pasteles triturados ya llevan incorporado el aglutinante que hace que tengan una consistencia adecuada una vez\u00a0amasados.<\/p>\n

Por lo que en teor\u00eda, cuando uno junta el suficiente material y lo trabaja, deber\u00eda llegar a formar barras de pastel \u201cestables\u201d. Para mis pruebas tom\u00e9 pigmentos y restos de diversos colores. La mayor\u00eda de ellos eran colores claros a los que, pod\u00eda a\u00f1adir alg\u00fan trozo de color mas fuerte para mezclar, y algunos otros eran tonos tierra que funcionaban muy bien juntos.<\/p>\n

Es importante reducir los peque\u00f1os trozos a polvo y as\u00ed poder aglutinarlos. Para ello nos serviremos de una regleta de metal, con su parte plana, haciendo presi\u00f3n en los pedacitos y machacarlos bien. Para reducirlos a polvo utilizaremos un mortero sobre un cristal o una base solida. En este caso he utilizado un cristal grueso y fuerte, y debajo del cristal una esterilla antideslizante de color negro. Una vez tengo todo el material bien machacado y homog\u00e9neo, en el polvo mas fino posible, puedo a\u00f1adir alcohol. En este caso Alcohol de 96\u00ba. Lo vierto poco a poco y empiezo a mezclarlo todo bien, hasta poder formar una pasta manejable, ni muy liquido ni muy pastoso.<\/p>\n

A medida que lo voy integrando y mezclando, el alcohol se va evaporando y va dejando la masa como un barro h\u00famedo, que es cuando podemos manejarlo con la mano. En d\u00edas de calor es necesario a\u00f1adir un poco de agua al alcohol, ya que este se evapora mas r\u00e1pido.<\/p>\n

Con las manos cogeremos la masa y haremos una especia de bola redonda, hasta que tenga una consistencia adecuada y maleable, y despu\u00e9s podremos ponerlo sobre la mesa y hacer un rollo, sea con la mano, sea con un pedazo de cart\u00f3n ejerciendo una ligera presi\u00f3n hace delante y hacia atr\u00e1s, sin apretar demasiado. Una vez tengamos el rollo a nuestro gusto lo pondremos a secar sobre hojas de diario, para que absorba los restos de humedad del Pastel…<\/p>\n
