This portrait was made to continue a family tradition … I had to paint the boy as his father was painted at the same age. It was really interesting exercise to do. More even considering the lovely baby boy´s expression.

I like this portrait. Specially the melancholic allure of the kid… The difficulty in this Pastel portrait was to represent and capture this sense of abstraction on the boy.
