The world of Pastel is fascinating, and a box of surprises.
I was contacted by a person from Holland, Cora Hollema, art historian and curator, with some very interesting information. For a long time she has been researching and gathering information for the development of a book on Thérèse Schwartze (1851-1918) that has recently been released in an edition of only 500 copies.
Luckily she sent me a signed and dedicated book of this great pastelist painter that I did not know. A great job, a story to discover, and incredible portraits!!
