It has taken me several days to find the words to express the sadness I feel, after knowing that Daniel Greene, the Master Pastelist, had died.
It is a big loss for the art and especially for us, the pastelists.
I never had the privilege, neither the luck, to meet him personally. But I feel someway as If I had lost someone from my most intimate and old acquaintances… This man was for me and continues to be, my teacher, a mentor and of course, a true master.
