On these dates, we always celebrate the Orthodox Easter at home and paint colored eggs all together, around the table, with the materials on hand. Since we are under a quarantine in Spain these days and most of the shops are closed, we have had to improvise.
We did not find white eggs or special food pigments to paint our eggs among other things. So we decided to make a natural onion dye, dip the eaggs on it and draw on them later with markers that do not penetrate the eggshell …
I was pleasantly surpised by the result of the experiment!! They turned out so beautiful that it was worth make some pictures and publishing them on the Blog. Share them with all of you… So, Happy Easter!
